The Bookshop (2017)

The main events take place in the county coastal British town. Here there live conservative people who do not care about bookstores. Here in the late fifties of the last century a pretty woman moved in - the widow of Florence Green. She lost her husband early, but at the same time remained a bright and attractive person. Here she acquired an unremarkable house, which was in a deplorable state. The woman restored it and turned it into a bookshop.
She sells famous literary masterpieces, such as "Lolita" and "451 degrees Fahrenheit". But only the townspeople very rarely go to her for shopping. It is supported only by a local widower, Mr. Brandish. They became true friends.
