Intriguing, full of frightening mysticism, the story “Midsummer” introduces a young, inseparable couple of lovers, where a caring guy, wanting to entertain his beloved, offers to make a small, memorable journey, visiting iconic, attractive places, choosing the blessed lands of Sweden for a cruise. For a fascinating tour, there were unique opportunities, considering the young man, after a long acquaintance, finally became convinced of the true feelings of the girl, dreams of giving a narrowed splendid surprise, in the form of an engagement ring under romantic circumstances. Inspired by the future rest outside the bored, crowded metropolis, the guys, having collected the necessary minimum baggage, after making the payment, go to their first, fateful voyage, promising close people to share their feelings after returning. However, the characters didn’t expect that the usual trip abroad seemed to turn into a series of terrible, frightening trials that made us repeatedly regret the thoughtless, poorly calculated step, when suddenly deciding to tweak the route planned in advance.
Along the way, the newlyweds, along the way, visit the old, mutual friend, who had once moved from urban comfortable housing, exchanging it for a provincial, modest, in its own way charming house. At that time, the local community organizes an annual entertainment festival, timed to coincide with the day of the solstice. A lot of visiting tourists came to the holiday, gladly taking part. Only soon it would turn out unforeseen events - under the visible shell, the aborigines hide an ancient, pagan cult with all its attributes.
