In the film You Shall Not Sleep, the theater troupe decides to prepare for the future performance. Unconventional plot of the production, telling about the fate of mentally ill people, makes the children responsibly approach to learning the replicas. The director of the play suggests the actors to spend a week before the premiere in an abandoned psychiatric clinic, where the heroes will have to feel the oppressive atmosphere and feel the emotional experiences of the mentally ill.
Young people come to the house of the crazy, in whose rooms the utter devastation reigns. Every day rehearsals are fruitful, actors get used to stage images, and the director of the play, which prohibits the students from sleeping, anticipates the success of the premiere. Suddenly, the Bank, which performs the main role, begins to hear ominous voices. The whisper pursues the girl in the dark corridors of the building, not letting her rest. Over time, poor thing are the ghosts of the tortured patients of the clinic. The dead tell the heroine about the details of their deaths and the atrocities that once occurred in the hospital.
