Forgive Us Our Debts (2018)

In the center of the plot of the film "Forgive Us Our Debts" - a forty-year-old Italian named Guido, leading a calm and measured life. But at one point the problems are piling on him, which drives a man into a corner. And having failed to start a family, he earns a living, being in a simple position. Guido works as a storekeeper, but he does not have enough money to cover fixed expenses. A man is mired in numerous debts, because of which an ill-wishers come to him one day and severely beat him, demanding immediate payment of debts.

As it turned out, this man was sent by people who have great authority in the city. Guido thinks about how quickly to get out of this predicament, because for non-payment in his house, electricity was cut off. He is trying to find a way to earn the necessary amount of money to pay off all debts. A man finds work in a collection company where he will need to beat debtors like him. But the money earned will go to cover their debts. Will Guido cope with the tasks? Will his life change for the better, or, on the contrary, will become even more pathetic and terrible?
