In such an exotic and vibrant country as India, in many areas, the poverty rate reached an appallingly low level. People living in slums are forced to suffer. These incomprehensible and small houses are deprived of all comforts, there are practically no normal conditions for existence there. It was especially hard for women, because they had to take care of personal hygiene, but the means intended for this were very expensive. In addition, the society forbade discussing issues related to cleanliness of the body, so the ladies had to cope with monthly bleeding with the help of all sorts of available materials.
