When a talented rapper, a girl named Koko is enrolled in a college poetry course, she is sure her lips will impress the teacher. But it seems that poetry and rap are not the same, and what works in one case does not work in another. In search of her voice, Koko learns more about not only the poetry, the rhymes and the art of poetry, but also more about herself.
