Lionheart (2018)

Lionheart is a 2018 Nigerian movie produced by Chinny Onwugbenu and directed by Genevieve Nnaji. It stars Pete Edochie, Genevieve Nnaji, Nkem Owoh. It was acquired by Netflix on the 7th of September 2018, making it the first original Nigerian movie to be acquired by Netflix. It was premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The movie was Nnaji's directorial debut as well as Peter Okoye's (formerly of P-Square) acting debut.
